W.Springfield, MA

Hello everyone! This coming weekend we will be in W. Springfield, MA on Saturday 11/7-11/8. We changed our location this year and lengthened the show to 2 days this year! Our show was previously held at the Big E Fairgrounds. This year’s location is:

Clarion Hotel & Conference Center
1080 Riverdale Street
(Route 5)

This will be our last show of this year and we hope you stop by to buy beads/kits/gifts/classes for the upcoming holiday season!

We have beads from a wide variety of vendors, anything you can imagine to make your own gifts for the holidays!

We have seed bead kits available from Good Quill Hunting.

We have finished jewelry pieces from random vendors like: Badger’s Beads, Good Quill Hunting, Boston Chapter ISGB, MacArts, Kim V Glass, and others.

Classes available from Good Quill Hunting/seed beads and Jean Pawloski/Viking Knit. Don’t forget our ‘Jumpstarts‘ classes!! These are one hour ‘quickie’ classes! That way you will have plenty of time to shop!!

Hope to see you there!!

Since MacArts started Bead Fiesta, I think it is very fitting that they be the first one featured on this page!! Being unique is one thing, but Bev’s techniques and skills are so vast that her work really ‘stands out in a crowd’.  Here is a small sampling of her work:

Her husband, Mike, also a lamp worker, makes these really neat ‘ruffles’

and Bev has been in

Bead Unique Magazine
Fall 2007

She is currently focusing on her new Shoppe in Sterling, MA. We had the luxury of being able to go visit a few weekends ago, and let me tell you,  Bead Fiesta The Shoppe is a must see!! It is not only quaint in appearance, but Bev teaches classes there and carries some fun and different items.

Bead Fiesta Blog

I have been permitted by Bev of MacArts to do this blog for Bead Fiesta.  Bev & Mike, Shirley and Sandy run Bead Fiesta and I must say, what an incredible family they are! I have been a teacher for them for the last 3 years and will be eternally grateful for them for asking me to be part of their awesome shows! Without them, honestly, I wouldn’t be where I am!! I believe they have been having this show for 7 years now, but I am going to ask Bev is she would write up a bit for the ‘About’ page, so the stats and info are exact. I will be featuring vendors monthly. The Vendor list will grow as shows happen. I have used the current ‘exhibitor list‘ for the link list, but there are many other vendors, they don’t necessarily do every Bead Fiesta show. I will also periodically put up photos of the shows at different locations. I hope you enjoy this blog and come back often to see the ‘happening’s’ of the Bead Fiesta shows and I also hope if you haven’t been to one  that,  if you are close enough, you include this show in your show experiences or perhaps, even in your travels to the area.
